Pictured below is
our new stock conversion kit. For years the only
conversion for the 1911 was a flat slab, canoe paddle
looking "stock". It did the job of holding
some variations of the 1911 up to your shoulder. But, it
did not fit all guns because of the design of the thin
stamped plates that slipped into grooves in the sides of
the plastic mainspring housing. Not all frames are the
same dimension there. Today
you can enjoy the elegant look and feel of a real custom
walnut rifle stock. This new stock will enhance rather
than detract from the look of your expensive 1911. The
stock is mated to a CNC machined steel adaptor utilizing
a "T" connection. This keys into the steel
mainspring housing that has been machined with a
matching "T" slot. The stock clicks into place
and is held by two hardened spring loaded plungers. Easy
on - Easy off. And solid feeling in place.
American made from quality steel and
fine grain American walnut. This will fit any 1911 and
clone that accepts GI spec. mainspring housing.
