Federal and NY State licensed gunsmith 

    These are newly manufactured replacement stocks produced by my friends and former co workers Wood Plus in Kingston, NY. They supply stocks to Brownells and many other mail order catalog suppliers.  These stocks are drop-in style with minor fitting required. Fully finished, stained, with plastic buttplate (Remington 11 includes recoil pad). Stocks are made from a very fine grain, black American walnut.  For price, see the price list at the end of this page.

• Mauser 93-96 Sporter Stock.  

            Manufactured with a .5" barrel channel, can be opened larger by customer.

• Mauser 98  Sporter Stock. 

            Manufactured with a .270" barrel channel, can be opened larger by customer.

                Manufactured to fit the .920" dia. bull barrel.

            Fits the standard barrel.

• Colt 1911 carbine stock to go with 16" barrel. (Call or Email for price) Replace that "Canoe Paddle" stock that is being sold by the big gun parts company. This stock will enhance rather than detract from your fine gun.  Their mainspring housing is made from plastic, the clamp is a little bent sheet metal the fits in grooves cast in the sides and won't fit all of the variations of 1911 and clones. The Hudson Trading Post  clamp is CNC machined from solid bar stock, not stamped from sheet metal and keys and locks into the steel mainspring housing  and will fit your fine gun. If you need a 16" barrel (which is required for shoulder stocks) buy one from SARCO,  www.sarcoinc.com ,and order the stock from us. Please do not install the barrel or stock separately (it is illegal without filing ATF form 1 and pay the 200 dollar tax).
