Production Parts and Accessories
I
am working with parts distributors,
collectors and dealers to identify the parts that are hard to
find or too expensive as originals. The CAD/CAM
capabilities of Hudson Trading Post Ltd make it possible
for me to CNC mill these parts at a reasonable cost. I
would be happy to hear from other collectors or dealers
about producing needed parts. Contact
me please. Here are the parts currently on the mill.
Paddle
Selector
I
first came up with the program to mill them cuz someone didn't think it could be done.
Then
I started experimenting on checkering them. Because of
the scarcity of original selectors, these would be great on dummy guns,
reproduction guns
and conversions. They fit and function just like the
originals. These prototypes went
down to Knob Creek and were well received. They are made
from 4140 steel and hardened to around 40 RC. and
blued. Full scale production will begin soon. Please
allow 30 days for delivery.

Slide
The
slide and latch are machined from mild steel, engraved
chopper ordnance with a unique serial number and case
hardened to 40 RC. Then final fitted, polished, bead
blasted, and blued. Because of the high cost of tooling
and machining, I have a limited number of these first quality
slides left. The seconds are as well made but the fit in
the wood has a gap at the rear angle that is not to GI
standards. They are not hardened and are blued. These seconds are good for dummy guns or an
inexpensive way to preserve an old original. They are engraved chopper ordnance but not serial
numbered. Unless there is a considerable call for the
slide, I have no plan to make another run soon.
