1927A1 had the Cutts moved back to 16.5 " and pinned,
the barrel was contoured to 1928 dimensions, drum divots
milled, Lyman rear sight riveted on, easy pull springs
installed, easy take down modification, and a bolt hold open
installed on a 1928 frame. Then it was bead blasted and blued

This 1927A1 had an original 28 barrel installed with the
SBR markings engraved in the barrel, new front sight pinned in
place, Lyman rear sight installed, bolt hold open installed on
the 1928 frame, drum divots milled, easy take down
modification, and the bolt handle contoured like 1928. It was
then bead blasted and blued.

This gun later had a real Lyman sight
installed. Drum divots look great and help to ease
the drum in.

From the front you can see the end of the barrel inside the
re-positioned Cutts, but from the side it has a nice shortened
look.

When the selector/hold open switch is in the full auto
position, the slide locks back for drum insertion and is great
for cleaning too (so even an M1 can benefit from a make-over).
